Semi-analytical Approach for a Specific Microstructured Fiber

摘要：

A semi-analytical approach for a specific microstructured fiber, which is formed by layered cylindrical arrays of circular rods in a homogeneous background medium, is presented. TheM circular rods are symmetrically distributed on each of the N-concentric circular cylindrical surfaces The method uses the T-matrix of a circular rod in isolation, the reflection and transmission matrices for a cylindrical array, and the generalized reflection and transmission matrices for a cylindrically layered structure.
