The New Location Detection Method For The Stator Single-Phase Grounding Fault Of Generator
To improve grounding fault protection of generator, the fault location function was extended,it could find and eliminate fault early. This paper proposed a method to detect the location of stator grounding fault for generator, which neutral-point was grounded via a distribution transformer with parallel resistance at secondary winding. This method judged the ground fault happened firstly, use the difference between fault phase voltage and non-fault phase voltage to confirm the fault phase;Then according the relationship about ground zero sequence current、zero sequence voltage of fault point、zero sequence voltage of generator terminal、ground resistance, to locate fault position exactly. It can gain the ground resistance by injecting 20Hz voltage protection easily. The method is realized simply and applied to projection easily.
