Studies on the Impact of Distributed Generation in Voltage of Distribution Network
In recent years, the distributed generations are applied more and more widely. After power cut of the United States and Canada, for the flexible power supply way of distributed generations, it is becoming more important in the power system. At present, with the growth of Chinas economy, the loads are increasing in distribution system. Both the Transmission distance and power capacity of distribution lines close to the limit, power quality can not be guaranteed. Distributed generations are applied in the distribution network, which can not only improve power quality, increase capacity, but also reduce the loss of distribution network. Whats more, small-scale distributed power supply can be achieved, while distribution network is power cut for natural disasters or other causes. However, some problems exis in the application of distributed generations. When distributed generations connect with distribution network, voltage of the distribution system will be affected. The author considered the voltage impact of distributed generations in distribution network. According to the simulation, the voltage of nodes in distribution network including distributed generations can be gained, the author discussed the node voltage stability problems in distributed network with distributed generations or not. Based on the discussion it is shown that power quality is improved evidently in distribution network.
