Research About Useing Improved Cross Zero Comparing Method to On-Line Monitor Tg δ of Power Cable
To get on-line monitor tgδ of power cable, a new method named improved cross zero comparing method which based on cross zero comparing method is schemed out. In this method, most steps like sieving wave, cross zero transform, logic and, calculating tgδ which used to process in hardware now are processed in software, and cross zero transform in one polarity is replaced by transform in both positive and negative polarities. All the steps of digital signal process are simulated in computer. The simulating results show that the average error between monitoring results and real value is 0.043%, and the maximal error is 0.08%. The virtues of improved cross zero comparing method can easily be seen through the experiment results. Using this method, the hardware circuit predigest a lot, the influences of zero point overrunning, hypo-harmonic, DC interference can be eliminated, and it is also hardly interfered by the error of system frequency. When the sampling frequency is 200kHz, precision can be up to 0.15%.
