Cause Study and Improving Suggestions for Accidents of GIS Equipment
This paper described two accidents of 220 kV GIS Equipment in the Damao substation. According to the physics and chemistry testing results and the accidents phenomenon, the paper pointed out: The main reason for accident of 4.23 GIS equipment is that it was assembled in the adverse circumstance where is full of chemical fiber floater and flying dust, then the impurities flew into the bus bar; The main reason for accident of 8.6 GIS equipment is that workers neglected the drying procedure of a molecular sieve, then the moisture and impurities dropped into the CT air chamber. This paper made some suggestions about management and technology of the GIS equipment.
