The Practice of Energy Metering Mangement and Informationization under The Electricity Marketization Situation

With the deepening of the power system reform and social development, the work of energy metering management has been taken more attention by all sectors of the community. This paper first analyze and investigate the management model and main business of energy metering management, and then proposed our constructive thought on informationization of energy metering management according to current situations. The information system is divided into two categories to construct. The first category is business management information systems that based on business processes and life-cycle management of equipment. The second category is automation systems that are based on metering telemetry technology. A large amount of pioneer work has been carried out in Guangdong province in recent years, and the effect is satisfactory.
