ZigBee AMR technology and its development

For the past 20 years, building a business case plan for advanced metering seemed to lack the momentum to make it a reality. However, with climate change concerns, rising fuel costs, power blackouts and the increased cost of construction and capital expenses, has the time has finally come for advanced metering? This article analyses the ZigBee technology, AMI profile, and relative development. ZigBee technology shows the value as a key part of innovative AMI programs for utilities around the world.
