Self-Organized Wireless Network Based on Radioover- Fiber
A Self-Organized wireless Network Based on Radio-over-Fiber is proposed. In this self-organized wireless network, the technologies of ROF, SDR, WDM and SCM are employed. By making use of the high bandwidth, low loss characteristics of optical fiber, all the high frequency digital and radio signal processing in 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi/WiMAX will be performed in the BSC, RNC and CSs respectively. The self-organized wireless network based on ROF can combine fiber path and wireless path to realize seamless protection. The scheme is much more robust, survivable and can overcome network calamity easily.
