Study on the Complez Metallic Ozides Additive for Naphtha Sulfur Reduction in FCC

1.Introduction In China, FCC gasoline contributes beyond 90% sulfur in gasoline pool 1. Thus, it is urgent to find an effective method to reduce the sulfur content in FCC gasoline. It is a more effective method that reducing the sulfur content in the FCC rcactor by using an FCC catalyst or an FCC catalyst additive 2. In this study, a special method to introduce Vanadium is invented which can prepare a high reactive additive and it can avoid the missing of Vanadium and the destruction on molecular sieve. The influence of the preparation methods and the vanadium content on sulfur reduction of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) gasoline was studied by the small fixed bed.
