Biopaper Obtained from Microorganisms
We propose to produce biopaper from microorganisms biosynthesis of cellulose and hemicellulose. The potential capacity of microorganisms to form biocellulose and bemicellulose fibers was analyzed.Inherent fiber characteristics are largely determined by the ratio and interactions between cellulose and bemicelluloses, by the biosynthesis or biodegradation of specific polysaccharides, and by th interference of cellulosehemicellulose interactions using carbohydrate-binding modules. The higher content of hemiceluloses in the wood is,better will be the quality of the cellulose that will become more resistant in the process of manufacture of the paper bobbins, without rips.In the final consumption, a paper with these characteristics must guarantee the best quality of impression and also to result in a material with more resistance and adaptability for the sector of packing.Biocellulose/biohemicelulose is expected to be a new biodegradable biopolymer.
