Catalytic Performance of Chitosan Schiff Base Supported Pd/Co Bimetallic Catalyst in the Reaction of Iodobenzene and Acrylamide
1.Introduction Heck reaction is a sort of classical methodology of the vinylation of aryl halides for the construction of new C-C bond. The reaction has been widely applied in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates and received continuous and intensive attention 1-3.It is mainly regarded the homogeneous palladium salt as the catalyst. However, palladium salt homogeneous catalyst has many shortcomings, which include difficulties of separation and recovery, loss of much palladium and disadvantage to the environment. The most severe problem is the generation of palladium will pollute the reaction products, so its application is limited 4.At the present time, polymer supported palladium catalyst have been developed in the research of the Heck reaction 5-7. In the field, Jiang Ying-yan and co-workers have used wool supported palladium formed wool palladium complexes for catalyzing hydrogenation reaction 6. Humic acid supporting metallic complex and their reducing products were studied by Heck reaction 7.The results shown that they have better catalytic properties.
