The Effect of Different Sequence Between Impregnation and Agglomeration on the Performance of PtSnNa/ZSM-5 Catalyst for Propane Dehydrogenation
1.Introduction For supported catalyst, the impregnation method is widely used to support active component on the carrier. Meanwhile, the mechanical strength of industrial catalyst is one of factors to affect the performance of catalysts, which can ensure the catalyst not to crush in the reaction. So the carrier must agglomerate with binder to improve its mechanical strength. Two catalysts (pre-agglomerated catalyst and pre-impregnated catalyst) were prepared in the experiment. The effects of different sequence of impregnation and agglomeration on the catalyst acidity, the dispersion of metal on the carrier surface and the catalytic performance for propane dehydrogenation were studied in the paper.
