Synthesis and Electrocatalytic Application of Nano-sized Cobalt-Containing Mesoporous Molecular Sieve
1.Introduction Mesoporous molecular sieve research has been vigorously pursued since the first introduction of M41S materials made by Mobils group in 1992 due to its unusual properties such as uniform pore structure, high surface areas, and high loading capacity and etc. A systematic study of this new material, especially, for some catalytic applications have been extensively studied 1. However, low ionic exchange ability, acid content and acid strength of the pure MCM-41 result in no catalytic reaction ability. Encapsulation of organic molecules and active components transition metals within the super cages of molecular sieves has been a topic of intense research as a result of the remarkable catalytic properties of the resulting materials2,3.
