Chemical-Thinning Catkins in the Chinese Chestnut

摘要：

By thinning catkins, chestnut yield could be significantly increased and the nut quality could be improved. But thinning catkins manually is very difficult. The chemical-thinning of chestnut trees catkins is more convenient, economical and easier than hand-thinning. This paper reported appropriate chemical, variety, diluted concentration and sprayed time for chemothinning catkins to the chestnut.
