Volume Rendering Based on Region Clustering and Rendo-avs

Segmenting data field and speeding up volume rendering process with the preconditions of image quality are two crucial techniques and they are much hotter in medical visualization research. A volume rendering algorithm is presented based on Density-isoline. First the paper presents a new cluster method to segment 3D medical image based on isodensiuty and some measures are taken to speed up clustering process; Second, a new volumetric data visualization tool is adopted to volume rendering 3D medical data field. Finally the realization and experiment results show that the algorithm can improve rendering speed effectively and guarantee rendering image quality.
