Application and analysis of computerized simulation system of dynamic occlusion for complete denture
This study is concerned with application of a complete denture occlusion simulation system (CDOSS) in the field of dental restoration. The principle of CDOSS is described briefly. With the aid of this software, the visualization and diagnosis of mandibular movement can be easily realized. The statistical results from 10 edentulous cases discussed in this study indicate that there was no significant difference between CDOSS and TScan II system (p=0.59>0.05); therefore, it will provide a useful tool to deal with the functional aspects of occlusal morphology in a diagnostical and therapeutical sense.
