Parameter Optimization and Analysis on Surgery for Fracture of the Femur Neck Based on QCT
Close reduction and internal fixation with 3 hollow annulated screws is a common method for treating fractures of the femur neck. The parameters, for example fracture face angle, empty screw distribution and position, are important to the surgery. These parameters are influence on the surgical effect directly. According to the results of mechanical experiments and QCT Quantitative computed tomography images, a finite element models of the proximal femur was established, which effect the anisotropic mechanical property of the femur. The optimized operation parameters can be obtained according to the theory of biomechanical. The data that are influence on the effect of the surgery were analyzed and compared. They are relative displacement between the fracture plane, the strain at the bottom of the nail hole, the maximal stress of the nail. After compared and analysis, the reasonable surgery parameters of the internal fixation to femoral neck fracture were obtained. And the parameters can be used on the medical robot surgery programming and navigation
