Study on Cu2+ adsorption in magnified continuousupflow reactor by Saccharomyces cerevisiae and industrial wastewater treatment
Put dead immobilized beer yeast into column of continuous-upflow reactor, study adsorption characteristics on Cu2+ through axial-magnification and axial-radial-magnification tests of column and industrial wastewater treatment. The results showed: with initial Cu2+ concentration 20mg/L, in axialmagnification test and axial-radial-magnification tests, flow rates of 35mL/min and 100mL/min were optimal respectively. Magnification of flow rate was not completely the same as that of column. Treated industrial wastewater in big reactor could attain to 1-2 level of state standard GB8978-1996. COD, SS and other organic materials needed to be further decomposed biochemically.
