The Variation Rules of Water Resources and Pollutants in Baiyangdian Wetland
Baiyangdian is the largest wetland in north China, it plays an important role in many aspects such as climate regulation, biodiversity protection, flood control, and local fishery production etc. The hydrological data of precipitation, evaporation, water level covering 1956-2000 have been analyzed for Baiyangdian wetland, the relationship between feeding flow to Baiyangdian wetland and precipitation in its catchment and the trend of water resources changes have been studied.Based on the water quality data of the Baiyangdian Wetland from 1988-2000, the spatial and time changes of the main pollutants and its influences on the eco-system of the Wetland have been analyzed. The pollutants are in the largest concentration from june to Sept. with poor water puality. Each kind of pollutant index has not obvious yearly fixed but in increasing trend. Three pollutant belts have been marked in the Wetland, and the variation trend of pollutant concentration along the belts have been studied. The relationship between the ec-system and pollutants changes rules have been analyzed.
