Dispersion of Co2+ into γ-Al2O3 Studied by Positron
The Co(Ⅱ) supported catalysts were prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation of γ-Al2O3 with different Co2+ content, and then some samples were heated 1 hour at different temperature in air. From the results of the positron annihilation spectra, we can show the character of Co2+ ion diffusion into γ-Al2O3 support2, that is, after impregnation, the Co2+ ion was mainly in secondary pores near to the outside of the support, and dispersed into the inner secondary pores only after heating at high temperature, and we can also see the influence of the hydration of Co2+.
