The Properties of the Fe3+ Supported Catalyzes Studied by Positron Annihilation Spectroscopes
The Fe(Ⅲ)/γ-Al2O3 catalysts with 1.8~9.6 wt% Fe(Ⅲ) was prepared by an impregnation technique using Ferric nitrate solution1. Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy has been used to study the interaction between Fe3+ and γ-Al2O3 support2 after the samples were heated 1 hour at different temperature respectively. From the results with four lifetime components, we can see that interaction was weak before heating. When heating temperature increased, the interaction showed the different characters, and some Fe3+ was dispersed into micropores.
