FABRICATION OF NANOMATERIALS BY LASER IRRADIATION PROCESS IN LIQUID PHASE
Our recent research on the fabrication of nanomaterials by laser irradiation process in liquid phase is reviewed, especially focusing on the effect of fluence on the products. First, the simplest case of platinum metal was tested to understand the effect of laser wavelength and fluence on this process. Second, preparation of crystallized oxide nanoparticles and layered organicinorganic nanocomposite at high fluence was studied. Finally we demonstrate the possibility of new direction for nanoparticle fabrication by reaction between target and liquid by low-fluence laser irradiation.
