An Image Rejection Low Noise Amplifier for WLAN System

This paper presents a new structure that combines low noise amplifier with on-chip filter to eliminate external expensive SAW filter, and achieves high performance while consumes low power. The proposed image rejection LNA is optimized for 5.8 GHz application for WLAN with IF frequency of 500MHz based on TSMC 0.18μm CMOS technology. The circuit operates at supply voltage of 1 V, and Vbias of 0.7 V. The power consumption is 5.98mW.
