Design of Dual-band PIFA for WLAN
This paper proposed a new dual-band PIFA(Planar Inverted-F Antenna) for WLAN. Two patches were used in order to embody each WLAN band. The shorting strip and meander-type radiation patches were used in order to minimize the size of the antenna. The -10 dB return loss bandwidth of a realized antenna was 1:95~2:65 GHz and 5:47~6:03 GHz which contains WLAN. The measured bandwidth contain two WLAN band(2:4~2:4835 GHz, 5:725~5:825 GHz).
