Current Researches and Uses of Concrete-Polymer Composites in Korea
This paper analysed the current researches and uses of concrete-polymer composites in Korea. Research on collections of theses and documents reported in the recent 5 years through conferences or journals was carried out with web search on related projects, and the result showed that around 70 research papers on concrete-polymer composites, including 40 papers on polymer modified concrete and 20 papers on polymer concrete have been published since 2004. Regarding the uses of concrete-polymer composites, polymer modified concrete and mortar were utilized as bridge deck overlay, and polymer concrete and mortar were for making precast products, with polymer impregnated concrete hardly utilized here.
