Research of the Content of Polymers Detection in Polymer Cement Mortar

External thermal insulation system is the method, which based on polystyrene board (EPS) as the main insulation materials, to fix the wall by using polymer cement mortar adhesive. When the polymer in polymer cement mortar reached a certain concentration, the hardening polymer cement mortar will form a interpenetrating polymer network, one aspect is the interpenetrating polymer network can reduce the shrinkage cracks and temperature cracks; On the other hand, polymer cement mortar has good bonding properties. The polymer will not only bond with the EPS, but also has high shear strength. Thus, polymer cement mortar has a greater compression ratio and high endurance quality. However, the polymer has a little content to create no more interpenetrating polymer network, therefore the performance of cement mortar can not be improved. And the Chinese construction industry has any detections for the polymer content of polymer cement mortar, in order to detect the amount of polymer in polymer cement mortar, this paper carried out polymer mortar DSC tests, which is used to bond EPS, and tested the enthalpy from different contents of the polymer samples, make a quantitative and qualitative analysis for the polymer contents in polymer cement mortar, and then use the numerical method of calculation to make a regression curve. In accordance with these data, this paper presents a test of polymer content in polymer cement mortar.
