Study on Performance of VAE Latez and Polymer Powder in Dry Mortar Product

Performance of VAE latex and redispersible polymer powder in dry mortar product is studied. The producing process has effect on the function of redispersible polymer powder. Latex turns into redispersible polymer powder in drying process that is the influential factor in maintaining the dispersion performance. After processed in drying tower, the same latex can turn into the powders with different performances in cement mortar. Data also shows that powder 1# is in better condition, its overall performance keeps the same with the original latex. Correct producing technique is an important issue that domestic producers need to take efforts to improve.
