Application of Genetic Algorithm on Dielectric Cylinder Microwave Imaging in Free-space
The principle of genetic algorithms introduced in the paper. The microwave tomography can be carried out by the genetic algorithm which can display the internal medium distribution without destructing its structure under detection. The finite element method used to calculate the electromagnetic scattering value, and the inverse electromagnetic scattering imaging method based on the idea of local shape function by which the imaging region is coded. Three genetic operators of selection, crossover and mutation are used during the genetic algorithm process to realize evolution process. An optimal result is sought finally by several iterates. The effectiveness and the superiority of this method are proved by simulation experiments, and the result is validating applicability.
