Affection of Electromagnetic Interference on Auto-passing of the Phase Separation System and Solutions in Da-Qin Railway Line

Da-Qin Railway is the only Chinese coal transportation railway line. In order to further improve the transport capacity in Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway, the first heavy load line is opened as well as the largest single load is more than 20,000 tons. Auto-passing of the Phase Separation System is an important device to ensure the safe operation in the transformation of the rolling stock. In this paper, composition and working principle of Auto-passing of the Phase Separation System are introduced. The reasons of maloperation in the test for Auto-passing of the Phase Separation System are analyzed. In order to improve system reliability and ensure that locomotive can pass through the phase separation safely, the designs about strengthen the anti-jamming and increase digital filter circuit in locomotive is proposed to eliminate the electromagnetic interference caused by track return maximize. Practical running in electric locomotives with heavy load in Da-Qin railway proves that the improvement technique for the electromagnetic interference ensures high safety and reliability of Auto-passing of the Phase Separation System.
