The Application of Schur Decomposition-Based BCG Solver in the Solution of FEBI Systems for Inhomogeneous Media
In this paper, the hybrid finite element/boundary integral/multilevel fast multipole algorithm (FEBI-MLFMA) is presented for the computation of scattering of inhomogeneous media. In order to solve the FEBI-MLFMA system efficiently, the Schur decomposition algorithm combined with multifrontal algorithm is used. And the Bi-conjugate gradient iterative is applied to solve the final equations. The efficiency of different iterative solvers is compared by simulating the scattering of a dielectric-conducting cylinder with FEBI-MLFMA in the final of the paper.
