The Microstructure Analysis of High Entropy Alloys with Muti-Element
In the 1990s, a new material design of high-entropy alloy with multi-principal-element has caused many international scholars attention. The alloys with over five principal elements have simplex microstructure, high hardness, excellent high temperature resistant, super were resistant and oxidation resistance. The outstanding characteristics have encourage people to research theirs preparation technology, new products exploitation and application area. In this paper, AlFeCuNiCrTi, AlFeCu0.5NiCrTi, AlFeCuCoNiCrTi, AlFeCuCrCo, CuFeCoCrNi and AlFeCoNiVTi high-entropy alloys were prepared by vacuum melting method. Microstructure and phases of the alloys were studied detailedly by SEM, EDS, XRD and TEM. The nanometer precipitation was found in the alloys through TEM analysis. The effects of some key elements in the alloys were primary discussed and analyzed in the article.
