Effect of Precipitates on Recrystallization of Cu-Ni-Si Alloy
By analyzing the change of micro-hardness, electric conductivity and microstructure of Cu-Ni-Si alloy during aging, the interaction between precipitates and recrystallization was studied. Results show that, precipitates in the early aging can strongly prevent recrystallization. When aging at low temperature as 450℃, 550℃, recrystallization in site happened. Precipitates grew under the condition of volume fraction increasing a little or unchanging. There was no peak in curves of electric conductivity. But there was peak in the curves of micro-hardness. When aging at high temperature as 750 ℃, discontinuous recrystallization happened. Precipitates grew under the condition of volume fraction decreasing a little. There appeared peak in curve of electric conductivity . However, micro-hardness decreased continuously.
