Prediction of Property Distribution on the Cross Section of Hot Rolled DP Steels
The temperature field and the phase transformation process are coupled to predict the microstructure distribution on the cross section of the strip. Based on the microstructure-property models the property distribution on the cross section, e.g. Grain size, flow curve, can be induced. Hence the cooling route can be regulated to meet the requirement of the mechanical properties whereas to decrease the production cost and to improve the quality.
