Research on Wear Resistance of Laser Cladding WC-Ni Layers on 45 Steel
Layers reinforced with different content of WC in the Ni-based alloy (WC-Ni)were produced by laser cladding technology on the substrate of 45# steel. The microstructure, microhardness and wear resistance were investigated. It is found that the microhardness and the wear resistant of the layers improved effectively than the substrate and improved as the WC content increased.
