Plasma Spraying Process of Wear-resistant Coating Applied to Thin-wall Parts

In this article, plasma spraying process of Al2O3-13%TiO2 ceramic coating on the thin-wall parts was studied detailedly. Plenty of experiments were designed to study the influence of spraying power, spraying distance and moving speed of the spraying gun on porosity of the coating on blade. The parameters of plasma spraying Al2O3-13%TiO2 on coating blade is optimized as follows: the spraying current 600A, the spray voltage 65V, the spraying velocity 40m/min and the spraying distance 120mm.
