Influence of Temperature on The Micro-Formability of Zr_(55)Cu_(30)Al_(10)Ni_5 Metallic Glass in Its Supercooled Liquid Region

Take the Zr_(55)Cu_(30)Al_(10)Ni_5 amorphous alloy bars as blank, through micro-backward extrusion forming experiment for the forming process of micro thin wall cup, the effect law of the forming temperature on the formability of the metallic glass in the super-cooled liquid range has studied. The result indicates that the extrusion load and the depth of the fabricated parts are heavily rely on the temperature, when the forming temperature at the range of 710-740 K, the depth of the formed parts obvious increase along with the rises of the forming temperature; the parts formed at 740K are obviously crystallized while one fabricated at 72SK still maintains amorphous structure.
