Power Connections-Degradation Mechanisms and Mitigating Measures

摘要：

The primary purpose of an electrical connection is to allow the uninterrupted passage of electrical current across the contact interface. There are many parameters that can be used to asses the operating efficiency of electrical contacts. This paper provides an overall review of degradation mechanisms in power connections and mitigating measures used to improve their performance.
