Study on Contact Material of Electro Magnetic Relays for Programmable Logic Controller

摘要：

PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is used to control various applications such as the factory machine, elevators, and door that works. And extremely high reliability is required for those PLC applications in wide contact load range (From low to middle level loads.)To achieve the high reliability requirement, bifurcated contact technology is used for relay to be used for contact rating 5A or less PLC applications. Recently, longer contact life with the bifurcated contact is required from PLC market. In this report, the best material ratio of AgNi contacts and size of material particle were tested under various PLC major load conditions.
