Study on the Reliability of Intelligent Residual Current Operated Circuit-Breaker

With the development of intelligent electrical apparatus, more attention has been paid to the intelligent residual current protection technology. On the basis of analyzing intelligent residual current operated circuit-breaker (1RCCB), it points out that the traditional reliability test method for RCCB can not cover the reliability of intelligent residual current operated circuit-breaker completely. The intelligent residual current operated controller (IRCCC) has a strong impact on the reliability of RCCB. As to reliability design of IRCCC, the electromagnetic anti-interference, PCB reliability design, software reliability design and quality control method of electronic components are put forward. This lays a foundation for improvement of inherent reliability of IRCCC. According the characteristics of IRCCC, aging screening test, characteristics test in extreme voltage conditions and electromagnetic compatibility test is purposed to examine the reliability of IRCC. This provides an effective method for the reliability test and examination of IRCCC.
