Research on the Fault Tree Analysis Method Based on GO Model
GO method and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) are two effective system reliability analysis methods. Considering that the fault tree model is troublesome to build and human-generated influence is strong, this paper designs a method, which builds one or more fault trees from the GO model. The advantage of this new method is that it simplifies the process of building the fault tree with the help of the GO model and combines analysis ability of GO method with that of FTA. In this paper, a kind of open-loop temperature adjuster is taken as example to analyze by making use of GO method, FTA and the method described by this paper respectively. By comparison of the results in the three methods, it is proved that the third method is in accordance with GO method and FTA. The method described by this paper combines GO method with FTA, which provides a new approach for reliability analysis.
