New Method for Constant-stress AcceleratedLife Testing Data of Electric Appliances
In the field of electric appliances reliability, constant-stress accelerated life test is a common test for reliability analysis of electric appliances. The 2-step analysis method is a commonly used statistical method for constant-stress accelerated life testing data of electric appliances under Weibull life distribution. The deficiency of 2-step analysis method is analyzed. A new analysis method based on constructed data is introduced to be used in the field of electric appliances reliability. Considering the correlation between shape parameter and characteristic life the estimation of characteristic life is modified, which increases the model fitting optimization and improves the analysis precision. Moreover, the method avoids table lookup and is more convenient for software realization and reliability engineering application of electric appliances.
