The Research of Reliability Test and Assessment for Protective Relays and Automation Equipments of Power System
Reliable technology is an emerging science which develops in modern times. It is a comprehensive technology based on probability theory and mathematical statistics. Developing the research of reliability is an important means to improve product quality. Protective relays and automation equipments are the important components of power system which reflect whether various of electric equipments are working on fault or abnormal states and realize four distant functions, so that the quality of these products is the key to guarantee safety and reliability of power system. This paper is mainly about some preliminary research on characteristic amount, test methods of reliability and assess methods for protective relays and automation equipments, which establish certain foundation of further launching the research of reliable technology and improving the ability to work reliably.
