Design of Electromotor Intelligent Control-Protection Device and Its Reliability Technology
This paper introduces a kind of electromotor intelligent control and protection device based on the single-chip AVR Atmega64 and ProfiBUS-DP. Its control function includes start, stop, brake, Y-A start, local and remote control. In addition, it can protect faults, such as overload, short circuit, phase loss, leakage current, three phase unbalance, phase sequence, undervoltage and overvoltage. Meanwhile, current, voltage and faults can be displayed and recorded. Hardware circuit, software schematic and reliability design are introduced in more detail. To improve the devices reliability, it reduces the number of elements, lowers coupling and radiation, derates elements, isolates with optical couplers and optimizes the PCB routing. In software design, watchdog timer, software trapping technique, instruction redundancy, digital filtering, flag setting, fault tolerant technique, and time redundancy technique are employed to shield and reduce the interference.
