Application of Human Reliability Management on Electric Appliances Manufacturing
The reliability of electric appliances manufacture process, just like other industrial reliability, is the result of joint actions, including equipment reliability, Human reliability and environment reliability. Due to the complexity of electric appliances, electric appliances manufacture process turns more complicated. Improving equipment (machine) and human is the key to improving the reliability in a process of Human-Machine system.Practices of more than 30 years of reform and opening-up have proved that manufacturing level in china has been rising with introducing foreign advanced technology and equipment and the management idea, but the overall level of manufacturing still lags far behind the international advanced level. There is still a certain gap between china and developed countries. Through analyzing equipment reliability and human reliability in the process of manufacturing, our work presents the value of Human Reliability Management in combination of equipment reliability and human reliability. Different from the human resource management or Strategic Human Resource Management, our study proposes some new viewpoints. Firstly, objective of management is to improve the efficiency of the process. Secondly, the reliability is the guarantee in the process of realizing efficiency. Thirdly, the key role of Human Reliability Management should be much deliberated in the process of electric appliances manufacturing.
