Life prediction and monitoring of critical industrial equipment

摘要：

The life prediction technology of critical products and infrastructures has been enlisted as one of the technology frontiers in China National Medium-and Long-Term (2006-2020) Program Outline for Scientific and Technological Development in order to ensure the sustainable development of our society and economy.The paper analyzes the competitiveness of different countries in the life prediction and monitoring of industrial equipment based on the number of research papers published in the last decade.Emphasis has been laid on the life prediction and monitoring of the pressure equipment and systems.The emerging challenges in the life assessment are highlightened.The development trends in life monitoring are also discussed.
