Creep characterization of anisotropic conductive film

The creep characterization of anisotropic conductive film (ACF) was investigated. The nonlinear viscoelastic creep model developed by Schapery was predigested to consider the creep behavior of ACF.Some parameters of the model were combined and the fitting formulas between these parameters and temperature and stress level were derived based on creep data at different temperatures and stress levels. The nonlinear viscoelastic creep model of ACF was obtained and agreed well with experiment data.It is found that the ACF shows the linear viscoelastic characterization at instantaneous loading and unloading when the temperature is below 0℃.The ACF shows nonlinear viscoelastic behavior when the temperature is above 0℃.Hence 0℃ is critical temperature above which the linear viscoelastic characterization of ACF converts into nonlinear viscoelastic characterization for creep deformation.
