A method of reliability calculation based on the acceptance-rejection method
In view of the risk-based technology and structural reliabilistic design or maintenance,there is a lack of test data to determine the random parameters in the uncertain structures.In this paper,a new Monte Carlo sampling method which is able to simulate different probability density functions is presented.Firstly,with the random experiment data,a spline function is determined.Secondly,by used of the acceptance-rejection method,a random array is produced form the spline function.Then the structural reliability or probability failure is calculated by the Monte Carlo simulation.Finally,the example shown,results of the structural reliability in different probability distribution are different,and this method is effective.
