Study on evaluation method of load-bearing capacity based on stochastic theory for concrete girder bridges in service

In view of the shortages of the current strength evaluation method of concrete girder bridges in service,load-bearing capacity evaluation method was represented by inputting the coefficient of carrying capacity X1 load-bearing capacity depravation coefficient ξe,section discount coefficient ξC and section discount coefficient of steel reinforcement ξs into the strength evaluation equation,and considering the randomness of detection indicators belonging to every coefficient.The load-bearing capacity of concrete girder bridges in service was evaluated synthetically through Monte Carlo simulation.Assessment methods and procedures were introduced in this paper,and probability distribution and statistical parameters of random variables were statistically analyzed with practical engineering examples,which would be of some reference values for further improving the evaluation method of load-bearing capacity for concrete girder bridges in service.
