A multi-view autostereoscopic display based on multi-layer lenticular lens
A multi-view autostereoscopic display based on multi-layer lenticular lens was proposed. The display is composed of a flat liquid crystal display and a multi-layer lenticular lens sheet. The multi-layer lenticular lens includes a traditional single lenticular lens and an additional transparent layer. A 30-inch prototype was developed and it presents good stereoscopic images with adjusting depth to several viewers without wearing eyeglasses. The stereo zone distribution of the proposed display prototype is wider than that of the traditional display. The image crosstalk of the proposed display prototype is better than that of the traditional display.
