Application of Flezible Display to Wrist Device

摘要：

This paper presents an application of flexible display to flexible wrist device that works as an accessory of a mobile communication device. Firstly, we summarized the challenges to overcome in the flexible display technologies with the focus on their reliability and flexibility; flexible STN-LCD was proposed as one of the viable solutions in our application. Then based on the specific requirements of the device, the design and the manufacturing of the prototype are illustrated. Finally, candidates of flexible displays for future applications are proposed.
